- 250ml of evaporated milk and the corn flour should be incorporated into a pot to make the cheese sauce. Put it over medium heat, bring it to a boil while continuously whisking, and then simmer for three minutes. Remove from the fire and add the cheese, as well as the garlic, onion, and chili powders, along with a dash of salt. If necessary, gradually reheat over low heat until the cheese is completely melted and smooth. If necessary, add a bit more evaporated milk to adjust the thickness. Till you're ready to serve, keep warm.
- Prepare a heavy-bottomed frying pan, a griddle with ridges, or a grill for high direct heat. Sprinkle the fajita spice over the burgers after brushing them with oil. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, or until well cooked and nicely browned.
- Combine the cabbage, carrot, coriander, onion, mayo, lime zest, and juice in a bowl and mix it while the burgers are cooking. Add salt and a little pepper to taste.
- Put some ketchup on the burger buns, then heap on the slaw. A cooked hamburger patty should be placed on top of each bun, followed by a large amount of cheese sauce. Add a couple pickled jalapeno slices last, then cover the bread with the top. Serve right away.
